房|ROOM
Room is a conceptual publication that explores the female experience through a spatial metaphor.
Using the idea of a "room" as a central symbol, the book reveals how social systems regulate and
constrain women’s bodies and behaviors.
From the moment of birth, women are placed within a pre-constructed social structure
a system shaped by male-centered language and discipline.
It operates under the illusion of openness, yet is filled with invisible boundaries and rules.
It teaches women how to behave, how to speak, how to be "appropriate."
Freedom, in this system, only exists within the empty space already arranged for them
within a room that appears vast, but is silently controlled.
This project uses the room as a metaphor to present the fear, restriction, and social conditioning women inevitably face throughout their lives.
The book is divided into three chapters:
three rooms, three gazes, three stages of regulation—
Room 01-Duty , Room 02-Tolerate, Romm 03- Fearful.
